Verbatim - Technology you can trust

Water Filtration

The number one trusted manufacturer of water filtration in Japan brings you a line of water filtration products featuring Mitsubishi Rayon's proprietary hollow-fiber membrane filtration technology.

The unique and advanced filtration system uses a combination of filtering net, non-woven fabric, ceramics, activated carbon and hollow fiber membrane filters – removing contaminants from your water, while leaving beneficial minerals intact.

  • 1.

    Ceramic

Removes lead, apart from other contaminants. (Insoluble lead can be removed by the hollow-fiber membrane filter). *

  • 2.

    Granular Activated Carbon

Reduces unpleasant odors, chlorine and mold (2-MIB) from your drinking water. It also successfully removes pesticides, herbicides, and volatile organic compounds (VOC's) such as total trihalomethanes, tertrachloroethylene, trichloroethylene, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, etc. *

  • 3.

    Hollow-fiber Membrane Filter

The core competency of Verbatim Water Filtration products, the hollow-fiber membrane filter, is made of ultra-fine polyethylene. The sidewalls remove minute particles (as small as 0.1 micrometer) from tap water, including algae, fungi, micro-organisms, cysts, cryptosporidium, and metal particles such as rust, lead, etc. *

    Advanced technology

The microoporous hollow-fiber membrane is a sophisticated filter developed by Mitsubishi Rayon's macromolecular chemical technology. Each hollow-fiber membrane has a macaroni-shaped cross section, and millions of pores in the sidewall. It can remove particles as small as 0.1 micrometers from tap water. *

Chloroform* A trihalomethane, suspected of being carcinogenic.
Bromodichloromethane* A trihalomethane, suspected of being carcinogenic.
Dibromoclhlormethane* A trihalomethane, suspected of being carcinogenic.
Bromoform* A trihalomethane, suspected of being carcinogenic.
Lead* Linked to birth defects causing intellectual damage in infants.
CAT* Organic chemicals, herbicides, pesticides used in a number of crops (agricultural or garden) as well as non-crop areas. It is suspected of disrupting the endocrine system.
2-MIB* A mold. It affects the taste of water.
Tetrachloroethylene* Widely used in drycleaning and as a solvent for degreasing metals in automotive, metal and light industries. It is suspected of being carcinogenic, affecting the liver and kidneys.
Trichloroethylene* A chemical compound used as an industrial solvent for degreasing metals. It is suspected of being carcinogenic, affecting the liver and kidneys.
1,1,1-trichloroethane* Widely used as a cleaning solvent in the electronics industry, as a solvent for adhesives, ink, paints, coatings, textile dyes, as a coolant and lubricant. It is suspected of being carciogenic, affecting the liver and kidneys.
